Permanent Representatives of Slovenia and Singapore signed the Avoidance of Double Taxation Agreement

 

New York, 8 January 2010 - Ambassador Sanja Ĺ tiglic, Permanent Representative of Slovenia to the UN and Ambassador Vanu Gopala Menon, Permanent Representative of Singapore to the UN signed the Agreement between the Republic of Slovenia and the Republic of Singapore for the avoidance of Double Taxation and the prevention of Fiscal Evasion.

The main objective of the Agreement is to avoid the double taxation and prevent Fiscal Evasion, with respect to Taxes on Income. The Agreement will apply to persons who are residents of one or both of the Contracting States.
